"At 4,900 acres, Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, Champlin and Dayton, is the largest park in Three Rivers Park District. The park features more than 20 miles of paved hiking and biking trails, miles of turf hiking trails, a chlorinated upland swimming pond, massive children’s play area, picnic pavilions and picnicking sites, an archery course, an off-leash pet exercise area and much more. Winter activities include a new snow-tubing hill, a beginner-level downhill ski and snowboard hill, cross-country skiing, sliding and snowshoeing." "Located on the Plymouth-Maple Grove border, 230-acre Eagle Lake Regional Park's primary feature is the Eagle Lake Golf Center. Eagle Lake Golf Center is the perfect place for new golfers to learn the game and for golfers of all skill levels to take in a social round. The center features a nine-hole par 31 golf course, a lighted nine-hole par 27 pitch and putt course, a lighted 40-station driving range and practice areas. Private and group lessons are available. Eagle Lake offers youth golf instruction through the World Golf Foundation's First Tee program. Eagle Lake Regional Park also features numerous other recreational opportunities include biking and hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

"Fish Lake Regional Park in Maple Grove offers a variety of outdoor recreational facilities in a wooded lakeside setting. Most popular with the summer crowd, the park features a swimming beach and boat access to Fish Lake. The Park District's 7.4-mile regional trail from Fish Lake to Elm Creek Park Reserve makes the park a favorite destination for bicyclists. Fish Lake is especially scenic in the fall, when stands of blazing maples reflect upon the water. In the winter, the park is open for ice fishing, walking and pavilion rental."
